JUL-AUG-SEPT 2009

Dear Christians Friends,

We are writing to greet you all in the wonderful Name above all other names: JESUS! We also want to thank you for all your support in prayer and in giving to this ministry that the Lord has entrusted to us. We could not even begin to do what He has called us to do without the faithful support of His people.

As many of you already know the Lord has given us opportunities by way of invitation to minister over the last few months throughout New York State, in Rochester, three boroughs in New York City, Long Island, Butler Prison, Albion (Female) Prison as well as in Pennsylvania. During our trip there in June we spoke at New Life for Girls (Exec. Dir. Jose Pacheco), the York County Jail and at Victory Chapel (Alex & Jenny Alvarez, Pastors) in Hamburg, PA. At New Life for Girls my wife shared “He Knows Your Name” based on Psalms 91:14 and 147:4. I spoke on “Inner Healing” based on I Peter 2:1. The Lord really ministered to the ladies bringing them to a place where they wanted to do whatever it took to get it right with Him and with others. Then at the York County Jail in York, PA my wife was asked to speak to “guys” in a SHU (Special Housing Unit) about “jail time” from a woman’s perspective. She spoke from a very practical point of view based on Psalm 127:1 sharing that “When the Man Does Time, So Does the Woman”. From there we spoke at Victory Chapel with Sandra sharing on Amos 8:11, encouraging the congregation to hold His Word most precious for the time is upon us when the pure Gospel is being stripped away, perverted and watered down. So much deception is at hand that people are becoming lukewarm because of the lack of “Bread” from heaven. I then spoke on “The Move & Purpose of the Spirit” based on Acts 1:8, Isaiah 61:1-4 and Genesis 1: 1-2. Many came forward asking Him to revive them in their walk with Him. It was so wonderful to see the hunger for a deeper relation with the Only One who satisfies!

July found us in Hartford, CT for the funeral of a very dear friend but even in the midst of sadness we saw how He orchestrated an assignment for us to give us joy and to give Him glory! After the wake we ended up connecting with many others we had not seen in long while. We all decided to go to a restaurant for dinner in the heart of the city to get some Puerto Rican food. After finishing our meal we continued the conversation outside as it was getting quite late. There on that very street corner stood a “junkie” waiting for his “connection”. He was quite nervous when he saw us and was fidgeting with his phone. But as we witnessed to him, my wife who was next to him began praying when she saw the Spirit of God descend on him and he immediately put the phone away. He just began to weep and ask for this Jesus whom we spoke of to come to him. We lead him to the Lord and he went into a Christ-centered program we recommended the very next day! Oh, what an awesome God we serve! ONLY GOD saw that one coming! Hallelujah! From there we drove to Dover, PA to see our good friend, Rev. Jose Pacheco(who is the Exec Dir. of New Life for Girls) receive the Teen Challenge Alumni of the Year Award at the Teen Challenge Training Center in Rherersburg, PA. We were so blessed to see that award bestowed on him, a faithful servant of the Lord. He had recently lost his wife to cancer so the occasion was overwhelming as she had worked side by side with him over the last 32 years. Upon our return we spoke at the Inner-Faith Gospel Tabernacle (Pastor Nina Warr) on July 17th on Portland Avenue in the city of Rochester, NY. My wife shared on Psalm 37:4, 11 about delighting in the Lord and how in the Hebrew delight means “to be soft and pliable”. That gives a whole new meaning to those verses when you read it inserting the Hebrew meaning for the word delight. I spoke on the “Law of the Spirit” out of Romans chapters 4-5, after sharing on the law of sin, law of the flesh and the law of the mind. When one particular woman came forward, my wife, Sandra and I laid hands on her and began to pray. The minute we started praying for her she fell to the floor, screaming, foaming at the mouth and began to crawl while on her back. God was obviously delivering this woman who was demon possessed (see Mark 1:21-26) and He set her free! To Him be the glory and the victory for He is moving by His power!

On August 2nd we will be ministering at Wellspring Church (Pastors Jim & Linda Knarr) in Clifton Springs, NY. Pray that we speak what is needed for that hour. Then on the 28th of August we will be headed to Bridgeport, CT to minister at Pivot Program, (Exec. Dir., Rev. Dave Smith) a Christ-centered rehab program.

As we look toward September (where has this summer gone?) I have been invited to minister throughout north central Florida by various pastors on the 21st-28th.

As you can see we so earnestly need prayers and support for these times as we spread this GOSPEL OF LIFE to hurting, hungry and lost souls wherever He takes us.

We know these are trying and troubling times that we live in but remember that with God all things are possible. (Jeremiah 32:17)

BE ENCOURAGED IN THE LORD! (PSALM 32:11)

Your servants in Christ,

Herman & Sandra
